        Herbal Medicine:

Schedule a consultation for an herbal consultation.  Specializing in natural remedies for digestive, skin, and emotional issues.

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses many different methods to help the body return to balance.

Some of the modalities include:

  • Acupuncture - made of hair-thin stainless steel, single-use needles are inserted into the skin in order to activate different acupuncture points and channels on the body. Treatments generally take 45-60 minutes.

  • Sports Acupuncture or "Muscle Pop" - This sports-type of acupuncture uses an acupuncture needle to fasciculate or  "reset" any muscles that may have been pulled or are in spasm. You may feel the muscle twitch or jump when needled and the muscle should feel slightly sore afterwards, as if you have just done a workout at the gym. While it may be slightly sore, you should feel an immediate increase in range of motion and flexibility.

  • Chinese Herbal Medicine - the strength of Chinese medicine in treating internal disease or traumatic injury truly lies in its herbal traditions. TCM uses formulas that have been passed down for millennia which are then adjusted to fit the individual needs of the patient. Chinese herbs may be used externally or taken internally, and come in many forms such as raw herbs which you cook at home, granules which you mix with water, and pills or capsules which you may carry around with you on the go. If this is something you are interested in, ask about an herbal consult today!

  • Moxibustion - Moxa is an aged form of Mugwort, or Artemesia vulgaris. It is burned and held above the skin or on a needle to warm different points on the body.

  • Microneedling - Simply put, Microneedling is the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. By creating a small wound, the skin will respond with collagen production and new skin cells. Depending on the depth of the needle penetration, this can offer skin rejuvenation levels from the simple enhancement of product absorption to the clinical treatment of scars, blemishes, and wrinkles.

  • Nanoneedling - Microscopic hair-like cones separate the cells within the epidermis to allow active products to be pushed into the skin. Nanoneedling only affects the epidermis, or the upper .15mm of the skin. The benefits of this serum infusion treatment include pigmentation reduction, increased cell turnover, skin rejuvenation, and an immediate glow with no downtime. This treatment can be done weekly to exfoliate the skin.

  • Acupuncture Facelift - Very fine needles are placed along the eyes, mouth, neck and ears, and this causes the face to essentially "lift" itself through the muscles tightening and rejuvenating. The stimulation to the skin also increases collagen production by creating small, non-invasive micro-traumas that will initiate cellular repair.

  • E-Stim - Electrical stimulation of acupuncture points has been used for years for the treatment of things such as muscle sprain/strain, sciatic pain, muscle cramping, neuropathy, or other forms of pain.

Length: Most treatments last between 30-45 minutes. For the first visit, however, we may spend up to 60 minutes since we provide a thorough explanation of Chinese Medicine for those who are unfamiliar with it, do a thorough intake to find any underlying patterns of disharmony in your body, determine your constitutional nature, and develop an individual treatment plan.
